directorygames – Midnight Sun Esports seek buyers for LMS team0
Taiwanese org Midnight Sun Esports have put up a notice on social media seeking investors or buyers for their LMS team.
Formed in January 2015 by owner Ethan Liu and coached by former Taipei Assassin and Season 2 World Champion Alex “Lilballz” Sung, Midnight Sun came in fourth in the 2015 LMS Summer Playoffs, sixth in the 2016 Spring Season and fifth in the 2016 Summer Season.
“I feel that over the last 2 years we have made great strides to our techniques and training style — we had our fair share of failures and also a decent amount of successes, but we will continue to learn from our past and move forward towards improvement,” Liu said in a statement.
“But I realize now that I am unable to do that on my own and need external help. I ask you, the community, to help us find a suitable partner, investor, or buyer to allow us to give our team and players what they deserve and need to become successful.”
Liu said that any investment or sale needs to be confirmed by the end of November, so the deal can be finalized in time for the 2017 Spring Season in January.
